We celebrated Dr. Seuss' birthday throughout the day on March 2. We learned that when Dr. Seuss was having trouble thinking about what to write next, he put on a silly hat. We made hats for ourselves for Writing Workshop to try out his idea and found that it really works! We ended our day by reading Dr. Seuss books with the entire school! For the last half hour of the day all grades dropped everything and read together.
